Okay, okay. Here’s the real about me section…
My name is Hanssie. At 38 years old, I never thought I would be where I am today. It sounds cliche but alas, life takes us on journeys we would never have imagined for ourselves. As a young girl, I thought I would grow up to be a killer whale trainer at Sea World, happily married with 2.5 kids, a dog,, and a white picket fence. And though I was on the road to make most of that happen (minus the killer whale part), I found myself alone, a single mom, hating my job and my life and having no clue how I got there.
Five years later, I am happier than I’ve ever been, content, and free. I used to think divorce was the worst thing that could ever happen to me, but looking back, I now know it has made me who I am today. The posts you read in this blog is a real and raw look at my life and my experience post-divorce. Starting with my divorce announcement post to my online dating adventures and now to advice giving, my mission now is to help women create a life they love after divorce.
This is my journey. I hope reading my story helps you a little bit with yours.
