Life’s A Beach

I used to hate the beach. Honestly. I hated getting sand everywhere; it was cold and dirty, and crowded. And then you’d get in your car and bring half the sand with you, and you’d be cold all the way home (about an hour’s drive). Until one day, I went to Hawaii. I’d get off the elevator, turn left and be at the water. The water was clean, warm, and pretty. I’d get sandy and walk upstairs and shower. I decided I liked beaches. In Hawaii.

Last year, I decided that I really wanted to move to Orange County, and the idea of the beach was sold on me. Now, I’ve lived here for almost two months, and I am in love! I live about a mile or so from the beach, and I go at least 3-4 times a week (If you follow my Instagram or FB you’ll have seen lots of pictures of the pier already) just to walk around, sit and watch the sunset or journal and collect shells. Not to mention the lovely weather.

Yes, this post is me bragging. I hope you have a fantastic weekend. I’ll be spending it with my toes in the sand (even if it’s supposed to rain all weekend).
