…but the good news is, I put a deposit down on an apartment yesterday! Wahoo! It’s the size of a postage stamp, but it has an ocean view and is literally a block from the beach.

The rest of the day was spent running around getting an oil change, looking at houses/apartments, homeschooling, going to the bank, getting cashier’s checks, signing papers,  looking for a babysitter AND a dog sitter, writing three articles, other work related stuff, getting a Christmas craft, looking for a winter coat and dragging a sick child with me to do all this.

And I realized in the midst of it all that **THIS** is what a single mom feels like.

But…I found an apartment. And so I will focus on that. And eat a lot of chocolate and try to avoid the two bottles of wine on my counter.
