When I started college, one of the things I was super excited about was sending Christmas cards. Random, I know.

Of course, I had to be original and hand-make my own cards. I was not about to go purchase pre-made cards from a box! The shame!

So, making homemade cards or at least doctoring up pre-made cards was the norm for each year until my daughter was born. Then, I swore that I would never get the photo type cards. I caved on that too, until a few years ago, I gave up on sending Christmas cards at all.

And such is blogging…

No, I haven’t given up on blogging, but it’s never been my favorite activity. Though I do enjoy the writing –sometimes. At the beginning of this year, I thought I would try to blog more, but with work, and the Kidlet, and Facebooking and Pinterest, blogging has become the item on my To Do List that gets pushed to “tomorrow” every day. Haha.

So, being as it’s been over 10 days since my last post (and about 4 years since my last Christmas card), I figured, I better check-in and let everyone who isn’t my Facebook/Twitter friend know that I am still alive (and Merry Christmas x4).

I am living the motto “Work Hard. Play Harder.” And nowhere in that motto says to stop and blog along the way. But I’m trying, and I’ll continue to at least feel guilty when I push “Write a blog post” to tomorrow’s to-do list.
