Back to Being Type A

Well, folks, it’s happened. My foray into the Type-B arena has ended. As I longingly look back at the carefree, who gives a sh*t, attitude I’ve had for the last 5 or so years, it was actually just a mild flirtation into the realm of Never Never Land. Some would say (that would be my former roommate), that I never left, but he’s so uber Type-B that he’s ALMOST Type-A.

I’m back to managing (i.e. controlling) stuff, which means I’ve ditched the digital checklists and went back to a PAPER PLANNER. Omg. Yes, it has happened. (I have also gone back to paper books and forsaken my Kindle, but that’s another blog post). My new planner is color coded, of course, has stickers and tabs (a dream come true for a Type-A person). I have post its and lists and file folders…and it feels like home. I can already feel my blood pressure on the rise.

I ended up after extensive research, of course, getting the Erin Condren Life Planner after a few people recommended it to me. And they were right, it’s a pretty awesome and adorable planner! It doesn’t really come with the glitter cover, but I screwed up what I wanted on my custom cover and ended up not liking the cover, so I “Hanssie’d” it. It’s a little on the pricier end of planners (well, not really, I used to spend over $100 a year on my Franklin Covey, but if you register on her site, you get a $10 off coupon, making the planner around $40-50 bucks. And if you click this LINK to buy one, I get $10 off my next order too.

Anyway, for the next few weeks or so, I am going to break my blog everyday rule, as you can see I totally missed blogging yesterday too. I’m still gonna aim for once a day, but with the new job, moving and new high blood pressure, I don’t want to overdo it too much. Have a happy weekend!

  1. I love my Erin Condren. It’s been beside me this past year and two months… I’m about to make the switch to my 2014 one. LOVE the gold sparkle cover you picked. I’ve never used a planner so religiously… I’m definitely a paper planner girl.
